Meet Mark Anderson

Meet Mark Anderson

June 21, 2021

Meet Mark Anderson our project manager for our work with Jacobs – a Portland-based engineering firm Friends has hired to investigate technical and treatment-related solutions for Vancouver Lake’s challenges – algae blooms that shut down the lake, warm water that harms fish, turbidity that impacts clarity and a shallow, silted-in condition that limits water recreation and promotes unwanted invasive aquatic weed growth.

We are working hard to find evidence-based solutions that will improve the lake’s water quality in the short term and the long run so that Clark County residents and visitors can enjoy the lake year-round! Stay tuned for the results of Jacobs investigations over the next 12-18 months!
